Is your dog aggressive?
Aggression can come in
different forms including nervous aggression. A dog becomes
afraid of a particular person, and will start to bark and
show his teeth, but from a distance. There could be a number
of different reasons why a dog will behave in this way, such
as body language, eye contact, ill treatment by someone in
the animal's past, or maybe problems with socialisation.
If you have a dog showing
any of these signs, please do contact me. I will happily come
out to asses your pet. This can be solved through correct
training methods. These methods are kind to the dog and not
harmful in any way.
Dominance aggression is
when a dog takes over your home and takes control by growling
at you and showing his teeth, especially when you are trying
to get the dog to do something. This can be caused by the
dog not having his own boundaries in the home. Also, if he
doesn't have his own bed, he will find one anywhere in the
house and claim it as his. It may even be your sofa!
There are so many reasons
why a dog behaves aggressively. If your pet is showing signs
of aggression, I can help you with kind and effective training
methods.
